Mr Brian Cousins - Late KOYLI


It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr Brian Cousins, late KOYLI, passed away on 26 July 2021 aged 77. Brian was a proud KOYLI and he will be greatly missed by all members of the association who knew and served with Brian.


Our thoughts and condolences are with Brian's wife, his family, and his many friends at the sad time.


As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV, rest in peace Brian. Cede Nullis.


Association members are invited to the funeral and the wake.


The funeral arrangements are:

  • Date and time: 19 Aug 21 at 11.40am

  • Location: Cantley Ln Doncaster DN4 6NE

  • Funeral Director: Wades funeral services 30 Hatfield Road Thorne DN8 5RA

  • Donations in lieu of flowers to: Firefly cancer charity in Brian's name

Anyone wishing to send cards or letters of condolence is requested to send them to the Rifles Regional Office at Minden House marked FAO family of Brian Cousins. Office staff will then forward them to the family

The office is generally unmanned as there is no Internet, landline or answer machine.  The Association Secretary visits the office twice a week to collect the mail and for any pre-arranged appointments.  The Association Secretary can be contacted on the mobile number or by email.
