Barry Webster late KOYLI

It is with a heavy heart that I write today to inform you of the passing of Barry Webster late KOYLI, known to everyone as Baz, who died Monday 8 June 2020 aged 76.


Barry served in D Company KOYLI until late 1967, he served with Bn in Malaya, Borneo, and Aden. He left the Bn in Berlin. Rest in Peace Baz in the FRV, your duty done the Bugler sounds No More Parades. Cede Nullis.


Our thoughts and condolences are with Baz's family and friends at this sad time.

His funeral will be held on Monday 22 June 2020. Donations in lieu of flowers are requested in Baz's name to Cancer Research Uk. Donations can be sent to Hammertons Funeral Directors, 217A Wakefield Rd, Barnsley England, S71 1NT.


Anyone wishing to send cards or letters of condolence is requested to send them to the Rifles Regional Office at Minden House. Office staff will then forward them to the family.

The office is generally unmanned as there is no Internet, landline or answer machine.  The Association Secretary visits the office twice a week to collect the mail and for any pre-arranged appointments.  The Association Secretary can be contacted on the mobile number or by email.
