Our first Association led Standard Bearers Course concluded today with 7 Association members completing training in the various Royal British Legion Standard Bearer drills. The course was led by Leeds Branch member and a British Legion Standard Bearer Ady Waites.

Ady ran an excellent course of instruction over 2 Saturdays. The first Saturday was run indoors due to the arrival of the 'Beast from the East mark 2'. Everyone is in agreement that the course was worthwhile and that they all learned the finer points of Standard Bearer drills.

Our thanks to Ady Waites for leading the course and the branch Standard Bearers: Brian Clayton; Colin Cranswick; Stephen Drew; Tim Humphreys; Paul Scofield and Rob Smith. They all gave up their time to benefit our Association.

Our thanks also to the CO 8RIFLES and YCoy 8RIFLES for allowing the course to be run at Minden House.
