This free event promises an afternoon of remembrance, creativity, and connection, but booking is essential
What to expect:

Live drumming from our Citizens of the World drumming group
A local singer performing live
Filmed poetry from Year 6 children at Town Field Primary School, Balby Central Primary School, and Lakeside Primary School created in partnership with the National Literacy Trust
Shared poetry created with b:friend and Changing Lives, inspired by the poem ‘Freedom Road by Simon Armitage’ commissioned to mark this historic anniversary
Scones, pots of tea, and a community feast — please bring a dish to share!
