Mr Michael Gordon Miles - Late 2LI

It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr Michael (Micky) Miles, Late 2LI, died on 12 April 2025, aged 70.
Michael, known as Micky, served in the 2LI, attaining the rank of Cpl. For awhile Micky was the Association Secretary working with Alan Howarth and Maxine Jordan in the office in Pontefract. Micky was highly respected both in Battalion and in the Association. Our thoughts are with Micky's wife Heather, his family, friends, and all who knew and served with him.
As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,
your duty done with honour and distinction.
Rest in Peace Micky.
