It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr Joseph Kevin (Kev) Dillon, late 2LI passed away on 25th March 2022 aged 74.
Kev, as he was known, served as a member of the 2nd Battalion The Light Infantry where he attained the rank of Colour Serjeant. Kev was highly respected among all ranks who served with him in 2LI.
Our thoughts and condolences at the sad time are with Kev's wife Jennifer, his family, and his many friends from 2LI and across The Light Infantry.
As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,

Association members are invited and encouraged to attend the funeral and the Wake. The family have requested the Regimental Coffin Drape, a Bugler, and Standard Bearer; the Association Secretary will coordinate these arrangements.
