Mr Joe Ashurst late KOYLI

Mr Joe Ashurst, a member of the Consett and Stanley branch, died on 19th June 2025.


Born 7 Jun 1928, Joe served in The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in Malaya, 1944-1951.


Joe's funeral is being held at Mountsett Crematorium on 8th July at 1230 pm. The Wake will be held at Stanley Central Club.


Standards and members are welcome. For catering, please inform the branch secretary if you are attending.


 

As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,

your duty done with honour and distinction.

Rest in Peace Joe.
