Mr Frank Robinson - Late KOYLI and LI

It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr Frank Robinson late KOYLI died on 18 Jan 23 aged 80 while on holiday in Malaya.

Frank enlisted into the KOYLI and rose to the rank of Sjt.

Frank was a popular member of the Regiment and the Association. He will be greatly missed by association members who knew and served with him.

A cremation service was held in Malaya and his ashes were flown to the UK accompanied by a family member. A memorial-type ceremony with Buglers and Standards will be held in a Public Housethe details are below.

Our thoughts and condolences at the sad time are with Frank's family and his brother Eddie who also served in the Regiment.

As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,

your duty done with honour and distinction.

Rest in Peace Frank.

Cede Nullis.

Association members are invited to attend the ceremony, details are:

  • Date and time: 24 Feb 23 at 1300.

  • Location: Albion club, Kirkby Road Hemsworth, WF9 4BU
