It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Mr Brian Clayton, late KOYLI and 2LI died on 7 November 2023.
Brian was a Corporal in the battalion’s Assault Pioneers Platoon. He was a respected member of the Battalion and later within the Association. He became the Secretary of the West Leeds Branch and an Association Standard Bearer representing the Association at many civic events in Leeds and at funerals of association members or former members of the regiment.
Our thoughts and condolences at the sad time are with Brian’s family and friends, and those association members who knew and served with him.
As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,
your duty done with honour and distinction.
