It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Colonel (Retd) Brian Musson Lees LVO OBE - Late KOYLI, passed away peacefully on 12th June 2023 aged 81.
Brian was commissioned the KOYLI; serving with the KOYLI, and later The Light Infantry. He was awarded Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in 1978.
Brian was an active member and a great supporter of the Association; he will be greatly missed by his fellow Officers, association members and those who served with him.
Our thoughts and condolences at the sad time are with Brian's widow, and his children: Alexi, and Diana.
Brian's funeral is to have a private funeral (family only). The location and date of a memorial service for Brian will be published when known.
A more detailed obituary will be published later.
As the bugle sounds 'No More Parades' and you take your place in the FRV,
your duty done with honour and distinction.
