Dear Members,

This has been a sad and challenging year for the Association and for many of you personally. Some of us have lost friends and family and restrictions have meant that we have not always been able to commemorate them in the way we would wish to, or that they deserve. We are all living and working through the constraints placed upon us and the Association has tried to support our people in need wherever it can. We have also sustained some of our traditions such as the wreath-laying at the KOYLI Memorial on Minden Day and our annual memorial service in October but many of our usual gatherings have been cancelled or postponed. Rarely has Cede Nullis been more appropriate.

Our focus remains the health and welfare of our members and therefore I would like to send my very best wishes to all retired and serving KOYLI, LI and Rifles officers and soldiers and your families for Christmas and the New Year when hopefully we will be able to meet up again in better times.

Lt Col (Retd) Graham Whitmore

Vice President
