Update - The Association Remembrance video will be premiered on Thursday 5 November 2020 at 11am. Make a note in tune in on our website or on our YouTube channel.
The date and time has been selected to coincide with Opening of the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, which is annually the first official Remembrance event the Association members attend. Sadly this year due to the worsening Covid-19 crisis attendance of guests is not permitted only the Plot Reps were to be allowed. With no improvement in the crisis Plot Reps have now also been stood down. Our Plot Rep was to be Dickie Dutton, our thanks to him for volunteering.
We have to say a massive thank you to Michael from Yorkshire Folk video production and photography for his generosity. Michael has filmed and produced the Remembrance video for the Association free of charge. We are grateful to him, and to the 4 buglers from Minden House Buglers turned up on a bitterly cold autumn morning.
The Association Remembrance video has been in demand by civic authorities across our Freedom Towns in Yorkshire and the North East to use in their virtual Remembrance Services.
The Rifles Light Infantry and KOYLI Association in conjunction with buglers from Minden House Buglers will release a video in time for Remembrance Day. The video has been professionally produced by Yorkshire Folk a video production and photography business which is inspired by its beautiful countryside, businesses, events and of course all the great Yorkshire Folk.
The video features 4 of the Minden House Buglers especially filmed for Remembrance Day. Keep visiting our site for more information about the video in the coming weeks.
