LCpl Lee Sokell Late 2LI - Funeral Date Amended

It is with sadness that we announce that Lee Sokell, late 2LI, passed away on 25 February 2019 aged 46. Lee enlisted into the Light Infantry on 30 August 1989 serving with the 2nd Battalion.

The thoughts and condolences of the Association members are with Lee's family and friends at this sad and difficult time. RIP Lee your duty done take your place in the FRV with you Brothers-in-Arms. Cede Nullis.

Lee's family have asked for the following to be published:

LCPL Lee Sokell. 2nd Battalion, Light Infantry. Beloved son of Carol and Ronnie, much loved brother of Nicola and Jason, Father, friend and army brother.

A light has gone out in our lives Lee, till we meet again.
