Rifles, Light Infantry and KOYLI, Standards from Pontefract, Leeds, West Leeds and Shrewsbury branches of the Association joined Royal British Legion Standard Bearers, including our own Ady Waites, and those of other Regimental Association to line the touchline before the start of the game. The Leeds United game at Elland Road Stadium on Saturday 27 Oct 2018 was their Remembrance game remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice during WWI and WWII. Veterans, including branch members from West Leeds Branch, and serving personnel from the Navy, Army and Air Force were also invited to be present in the stadium.

A special mention to Micky Miles who also joined us to brave the cold despite having had chemotherapy ahead of major surgery scheduled for later in the week . We wish Micky all the best for his surgery.
