Packing of Comfort Boxes for Riflemen Deployed Over Christmas 2018

During the summer volunteers from the Doncaster 1914-18 project and involving the Rifles Regional Office in Pontefract have being collecting and raising funds for the Comfort Packs that will be sent to members of The Rifles who will be deployed of Christmas. Association members are requested to volunteer to assist with the packing of Comfort Boxes on 18 and 19 October 2018.

The packing will take place in Cusworth Hall, Cusworth Ln, Doncaster DN5 7TU on the 18th and 19th of October from 10:00-16:00 with an hour lunch break. There is a tea rooms on site however the organisers suggest that volunteers bring their own with them. The organisers are providing light refreshments throughout the day. Parking passes will be available for volunteers vehicles. However the organisers have asked for an idea of how many association members and vehicles there will be. If you are interested in volunteering to assist you are asked to contact Capt Bob Roberts at the Rifles Regional Office on 01977 703181.

On Friday 19th Oct the press will be coming between 13:30 & 15:30.
