WO1 Thomas Glynne Jones late 1 K0YLI and 2 LI


It is with sadness that we announce that WO1 Thomas Glynne Jones late 1 KOYLI and 2 LI KOYLI, passed away on 30 Sep 2018 aged 83. Thomas who enlisted on 05 Sep 1951 served his country for 40 years.

The thoughts and condolences of all in the Association are with Thomas's wife Paula, family and friends. RIP Thomas your duty done, stand easy and take your place in the final RV. Cede Nullis.

Thomas's family have asked that we publish the following:

WO1 Thomas (Tom) Glynne Jones, KOYLI and 2 LI died at home on 30 September 2018 after a long battle with cancer, bravely fought. During his military career he saw service in Kenya, Aden, Malaya, Borneo, Berlin, Northern Ireland and Lemgo. He spent the remaining years of his career recruiting throughout Lincolnshire, retiring age 55, just short of 40 years.

Funeral Arrangements:

Date and Time: 23 Oct 2018 at 1150 hrs

Location: Lincoln Crematorium, Washingborough Road, Lincoln
