Eden Camp All Services Parade 2018

Earlier today the Association Vice President along with the Chairman of the Branches joined Association members from Pontefract, Wakefield and West Leeds branches along with family members for the Annual All Services Parade and Service of Remembrance at Eden Camp. To mark the 50th Anniversary of the disbanding of the KOYLI and formation of the Light Infantry Last Post was sounded by Craig Rosser representing the Veteran Buglers Association.

The Association marching contingent of members who travelled on the coach or made their own way was led by Lt Col Graham Whitmore and boosted by 5 former members of 8LI that included Cliff Parson, Daz and Natalie Jones. Our Standard Bearer party consisting of Rob Smith, Stephen Drew, Brian Clayton, Tim Humphreys and Colin Cranswick between them carried 3 KOYLI Standards, a Light Infantry and Rifles Standards.

A big thank you to the all the Association members and their families who travelled to Eden Camp for your support.
