7 August 2018 was the relaunch of Doncaster Branch on the Rifles, Light Infantry and KOYLI Association in the bar at Danum Road Army Reserve Centre the home of Y Coy 8 Rifles in Doncaster. Members old and new meet in Doncaster for the first time in 2 years. Brian Clayton and Geoff Holland, members of West Leeds Branch, traveled to Doncaster to give their support to our newest branch. After the meeting a buffet provided by Elaine Tagg, wife of Steve Tagg the Branch Secretary was enjoyed by branch members and members of Y Coy 8 Rifles who joined members in the bar after their drill night. We discovered members of Y Coy who also served with KOYYLI and 8 LI.

Our thanks to our excellent hosts for their warm welcome and joining us for a drink and sandwich in the bar. Thank you to the CO 8 Rifles, OC Y Coy and the PSAO for allowing the Association to hold the branch meetings in the Reserve Centre.
