It is with sadness that we have learnt of the passing of another of our KOYLI members. Roy Waring passed away on 29 Nov 2016 aged 90 just short of his 91st birthday. To Roy's family and friends from all members of the Regimental Association our sincere condolences. Stand easy Roy your duty done as you make you way to the final RV. RIP Cede Nullis.

The small village church in Menston, West Yorkshire, was packed with family members, friends and villagers to give Roy the send off befitting that; of the head of a large family of 8 children and 10 grandchildren and a respected member of the community. The church service was followed by a private burial before everyone came together in the village social club. Roy's family expressed their sincere thanks to Adrian Waites and Colin Cranswick for representing the Regiment he was proud to have served.
