Yesterday 10 members of the Association from Pontefract and Wakefield Branches attended the opening of the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in the presence of HRH Prince Philip and HRH Prince Harry.

The group of members had an early start departing Pontefract at 5am to ensure they would be at the Abbey by 1030am. Following the opening of the Field Of Remembrance by the Princes they walked around the all the regimental plots speaking with the regimental representatives. After this the Association members headed to a local hostelry for lunch before returning North.
