Armed Forces Flag Raising in Leeds
Raising of the Armed Forces Day flag at the Cenotaph in the centre of Leeds on Saturday 22 Jun marked the start of Leeds Armed Forces Week. Standard Bearers from all branch of the services and Veterans paraded in front of the Lord Mayor of Leeds, the Lord Lieutenant, the High Sheriff and other civic dignitaries as the Armed Forces Day flag was raised. Armed Forces Day Events in Doncaster and Leeds White Rose Centre 30 Jun
On Saturday 30 Jun 2018 Association members were in Doncaster and Leeds supporting Armed Forces Day events. Steve Tagg, Malcolm Moore and Colin Cranswick were in Doncaster Market Place with the Association gazebo and the recruiting team of Y Coy 8 Rifles. Wakefield Armed Forces Day 16 Jun 2018
The Wakefield Armed Forces Day is Saturday 16 Jun from 11am to 4pm in Pontefract Park. The Association will be represented by our Pontefract Branch members with the Association gazebo and will be co-located with the Rifles Recruiting Support Team. Leeds Armed Forces Day 23 Jun 2018
The Leeds Armed Forces Day is Saturday 23 Jun from 11am to 4pm. This the location for the event has been moved on to the Briggate. The Association will be represented by our West Leeds Branch members with the Association gazebo and will be co-located with the Rifles Recruiting Support Team. Armed Forces Day Leeds 2017 - Association Members on Parade
Armed Forces Day Leeds 2017 was a great success and a day Leeds said thank you to all veterans and currently serving members of all our armed forces and the wives and children that support us. Maxine and Colin were joined by members of West Leeds Branch of the Association. Regimental Association Supporting Wakefield and Pontefract Armed Forces Day 18 June 2017
Members of the Rifles LI and KOYLI Association will be in attendance in Pontefract Park which is part of the famous Pontefract Race Course on Sunday 18 June from 10am to 5pm.
