The information below has been received from RHQ The Rifles for veterans to have their say on the NI Command Paper. Please note that anyone who wishes to submit their comments must do so by 6 Sept 21.

Dear All,

The Independent Veterans Advisor to the Government, Mr David Richmond, has taken the unusual step of directly asking for the view of veterans on the NI Command Paper, which proposes a Statue of Limitation on investigations. Please see below link.

This invitation is only open to veterans; the view of the Army will be staffed separately and those serving should not contact Mr Richmond. It would be useful if veterans could copy their comments to RHQ (myself) but this is not a requirement. Comment need to be made by 6 Sept 21 and should be sent to david.richmond@cabinetoffice.gov.uk.
