15 members of the Rifles Light Infantry and KOYLI Association from Pontefract, Wakefield and West Leeds branches made the journey south to London on Saturday 20 July 19 to attend The Rifleman's Gathering at the Allianz Stadium. This was the third Rifleman's Gathering and the first occasion our Association has run a trip to the event

Enjoying the excellent venue our party enjoyed the rugby between The Rifles and Trowbridge, which sadly The Rifles were beaten. During halftime of members were joined by Brig Charlie Collins, President of the Rifles Light Infantry and KOYLI Association and Simon Heslitt from RHQ and creator of SWIFT the Rifles online app,

Following this the Massed Band and Bugles of The Rifles performed a brilliant Sounding Retreat Parade.
