KOYLI Cap Badge

The Regimental Association Secretary, Colin Cranswick, attended the funeral on Neil Campbell (Lowe) in Wellingborough, North Hants on Wednesday 8 February. Neil's sons and daughter, Gordon, Graham and Allison had requested if it would be possible to have the KOYLI Standard carried at Neil's funeral. We were happy to oblige.

Neil, celebrated his 80th birthday last year with a cake bearing the KOLYI cap badge which he wouldn't let anyone cut into. He was very proud to have served in the KOYLI and had in the passed made the journey back to his beloved Yorkshire to attend various Regimental Association events in Pontefract.

Our thanks to Neil's entire family and his friends for their warm welcome and for looking after the Colin in the way they did.
