Mr Fred Gosnay late KOYLI

On 30th June 2021 at Dewsbury crematorium members of the Association joined family and friends of Fred Gosnay to say their final goodbyes. Fred sadly past away on 6 Jun 21 aged 79.

Fred served with the battalion in Malaysia and in Tidworth reaching the rank of LCpl. He was proud of being a KOYLI as is Shirley, Fred's wife who joined him in Malaysia. To honour Fred Shirley requested the KOYLI flag to drape over his coffin. During the service Fred Howard recollected memories of when they served together in Malaysia and remained life long friends.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Fred's wife Shirley and all their friends.

Fred as you join your KOYLI brothers in the FRV and the bugle sounds No More Parades Rest in peace. Cede Nullis.

Anyone wishing to send cards or letters of condolence is requested to send them to the Rifles Regional Office at Minden House marked FAO family of Fred Gosnay. Office staff will then forward them to the family.
